At Peaceful Passages Birthing Support Center, we believe in equipping future Birth Doulas with the highest quality, evidence-based course and classes that will prepare them in their career as a doula.
Our training. Workshop will teach you the benefits of doula care, the history of birth, the significance of doula support to families, comfort techniques and strategies for labor and birth, how doulas can impact maternal mortality and breastfeeding rates, while also directing you towards the steps to begin your doula career.

Resposibilities:
- Provide emotional and physical support to expectant mothers before, during, and after childbirth
- Educate and empower expectant mothers about the birthing process and available options
- Assist with creating birth plans and advocating for the mother's preferences during labor
- Offer comfort measures such as massage, breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises
- Provide guidance on breastfeeding and newborn care
- Offer postpartum support including assistance with household tasks and newborn care
Skills:
- Physiology knowledge: Understanding of the physiological changes that occur during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period
- Medical terminology: Familiarity with medical terminology related to pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care
- Anatomy knowledge: Understanding of the female reproductive system and the stages of fetal development
- Patient service: Ability to provide compassionate and supportive care to expectant mothers
- Patient assessment: Skill in assessing the physical and emotional needs of expectant mothers
