Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Location: Manhattan, NY
Pay: 200,000 - 300,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia for surgical, obstetric, and diagnostic procedures in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments, including patient interviews and medical history reviews.
- Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed throughout procedures.
- Manage post-anesthesia care, including monitoring for complications and ensuring patient safety during recovery.
- Maintain accurate and detailed anesthesia records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and post-operative care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Valid state RN and CRNA licenses.
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
