The Operations Manager assumes the overall responsibility for the coordination of clinical activities of the Clinic. The individual is responsible for directing the Clinic staff in their provision of safe, effective and appropriate patient care. He/she ensures that this quality care is delivered in accordance with established policies/procedures and process/outcomes standards; regulatory and accreditation requirements; and the philosophy, goals, objectives, and mission of Samaritan Medical Center. The Operations Manager identifies educational needs of the Clinic staff and collaborates with appropriate resources to implement and document programs to meet staff needs. Assumes responsibility for effective fiscal management by monitoring FTEs, optimizing staffing and triage with input from the Administrator; and identifying opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost savings. Ensures client/customer service by monitoring PI initiatives in patient satisfaction. Bachelors Degree preferred or a commensurate level of education and work experience. 5+ years managing a large primary care or healthcare practice. Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding.
