Lactation Consultant – Empower Breastfeeding Journeys | Work From Anywhere
Join Parenting Genie, a leading online parenting support platform that provides families with expert guidance from pregnancy to early childhood. We’re looking for compassionate, experienced Lactation Consultants to provide personalised breastfeeding support through virtual consultations and optional home visits.

✅ What You'll Do:
- Deliver 1-on-1 breastfeeding support via Zoom consultations
- Guide parents through common challenges such as latch issues, low milk supply, pumping, mastitis, and weaning
- Offer optional in-person visits within your local area (if preferred)
- Participate in online Q&A sessions or live classes (optional)
- Tailor your support to the unique needs of each parent and baby
- Collaborate with our team of midwives and child health experts as needed
✅ Required Qualifications:
To be considered, you must have:
- IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) certification or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing breastfeeding support
- Current registration with AHPRA (if you're also a midwife or nurse)
- Current and valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current National Police Check
- ABN (Australian Business Number)
- The ability to work independently while delivering empathetic, evidence-based care
Pay & Hours
- Hourly Rate: AU$60–AU$100 (based on experience and service type)
- Hours: Flexible – from 5 to 25 hours/week depending on your preference
