We are looking for a full-time / part-time Junior Embryologist to our team in the lab. You will work alongside a hands-on PhD Laboratory Director, Dr. Catharine Adams. This is an excellent opportunity for future growth into a Lab Management/Lab Direction role.

Main Job Duties:
- Specimen Handling – Prepare and manage sperm, oocytes, and embryos under strict lab protocols.
- Laboratory Support – Assist with lab setup, equipment maintenance, and supply inventory, QA and QC.
- Insemination Assistance – Support fertilization procedures (e.g., IVF) under supervision.
- Embryo Culture Monitoring – Observe and document embryo development stages.
- Cryopreservation – Assist in freezing and thawing of embryos, oocytes, and sperm.
- Andrologist: Perform semen analysis (motility, morphology, concentration) and prepare sperm samples for ART procedures; Process testicular/epididymal samples under guidance; Manage sperm cryopreservation, thawing and discharge.
- Data Entry & Documentation – Accurately log procedures and outcomes in lab records and patient files.
- Compliance & Cleanliness – Follow safety, ethical, and regulatory standards; maintain sterile conditions.
- Team Collaboration – Work closely with senior embryologists, lab technicians, and clinicians.
Qualifications and Responsibilities
· Bachelor’s degree in life science (Biology or closely related area) and minimum of 1-2 of experience in embryology or a related laboratory setting
· Familiarity with ART procedures including sperm preparation, oocyte handling, and embryo culture
· Familiar all relevant industry, health, and safety, federal, and state regulations
· Experience in specimen preparation, handling, transfer, and storage ensuring specimen quantity, quality, and consistency
· Familiar with all of data collection, analysis, and reporting
· Experience in quality assurance, quality control and process improvements and ability to lead quality improvement activities as assigned by the IVF Lab Director.
· Participate and support research projects.
· Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
· Advanced organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
· Advanced interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and support the work of others
