The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to women throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period. Duties
- Provide prenatal care, including regular check-ups, screenings, and education on family planning.
- Assist in labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for the birthing process.
- Monitor patients during labor, assessing vital signs and fetal heart rates.
- Administer injections and manage pain relief options as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients, documenting care provided and any changes in health status.
- Offer primary care services to women, addressing acute care needs as they arise.
- Collaborate with obstetricians and gynecologists (Ob/Gyn) for any high-risk pregnancies or complications.
- Provide postpartum care, including education on newborn care and maternal recovery.
Required
- Certified Midwife
- Knowledge of Ob/Gyn practices
- Experience working in an operating room
