Purpose:
OGA Women’s Health is seeking a full-time Patient Financial Advocate Support team member. This position is set to take place- at our Meridian clinic location, Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
Pay: Range of $19.00-$23.00 per hour based on relevant experience and skills.
Position Duties and Responsibilities: The Patient Financial Advocate Support will assist the billing department in a varied capacity. This role includes supporting the collections and patient financial advocacy team as well as the general billing office.
- Calls past due patients in regard to collecting payment.
- Sets up payment plans for patients.
- Takes payments from patients over the phone.
- Preparing and sending past due and final notice letters.
- Acts as a resource to the Business Office as needed, cross-trained in various roles as needed
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Strong empathy skills
- Medical office experience preferred but not required
