Position Summary:
A full-time opportunity is available for a qualified and enthusiastic Nursing Instructor with clinical experience in Pediatrics and Obstetrics (OB). The instructor will play a vital role in preparing the next generation of nurses by teaching, mentoring, and supervising students in both academic and clinical settings. The ideal candidate is committed to excellence in education and demonstrates a passion for maternal-child health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction in Pediatric and OB nursing in classroom, lab, and clinical environments.
- Plan and assess learning outcomes to ensure alignment with program standards and student success.
- Supervise students during clinical rotations, ensuring safe and effective practice.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in faculty meetings, training, accreditation activities, and college service.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and evaluations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
- Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho, or eligibility to obtain.
- Minimum of two years of recent clinical experience in Pediatrics and/or Obstetrics.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Previous teaching or clinical instruction experience.
- Familiarity with simulation technology and contemporary teaching methods.
- Doctorate in Nursing or Education (DNP, PhD, EdD) a plus.

Pay: $89,584.35 - $95,000.00 per year
