Job Description
As a Logistics Coordinator at TransOva, part of the URUS group, you will play a critical role in managing the logistics and execution of import and export processes for third-party semen and embryos. This position ensures seamless order fulfillment from receipt to invoicing while maintaining compliance with international trade regulations. Acting as a key liaison between domestic and international customers, this role supports smooth transactions, regulatory adherence, and high levels of customer service.
Import/Export Coordination & Logistics
- Coordinate with domestic and international clients, as well as Production Centers, to manage the shipment of semen and embryos through Trans Ova to international destinations.
- Oversee inbound product receipt, verifying product integrity, documentation accuracy, and compliance with CFIA and export regulations.
- Coordinate and approve consignments with importers to ensure seamless transactions.
- Manage all aspects of freight logistics, including clearance and delivery, while liaising with freight forwarders to ensure efficient transportation.
- Monitor and optimize supply chain performance metrics, maintaining detailed customer service logs to track order status and resolution.
Order Processing & Documentation Management
- Execute full-cycle order processing, including order receipt, processing, inventory management, export documentation preparation, logistics coordination, and invoicing.
- Verify product eligibility, update customers on availability, and ensure proper documentation for compliance.
- Prepare, authorize, and legalize all required export documents, such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and Health Certificates.
Customer Service & Problem-Solving
- Serve as a point of contact for domestic and international customers, providing timely updates and support throughout the order-to-invoice process.
- Address and resolve transportation, import/export, and customer-related issues efficiently, ensuring seamless operations.
- Collaborate with URUS Logistics Coordinators to provide additional support on international orders as needed.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills applied to optimize supply chain processes.
- Intermediate proficiency in utilizing supply chain systems, data analysis tools, such as a TMS, WMS, Power BI, Qlikview, as well as Microsoft Office suite of products.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Highly valued: Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP).
- Highly valued: Demonstrated experience working in JDE.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Track record of effectively identifying and solving supply chain challenges.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques.
