Award-winning office seeking an experienced and professional Medical Billing Representative, with a focus in Accounts Receivable.
As a Medical Billing Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely collection of payments from patients and insurance carriers. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to communicate effectively will contribute to the overall financial health of our Practice. Responsibilities:
- Analyze and work A/R for outstanding insurance and patient accounts
- Review and resolve insurance rejections and denials
- Assist with patient questions related to account statements/balances
- Review patient accounts for balances due, credits and outstanding amounts
- Contact patients and manage collections on outstanding balances
- Generate financial reports related to accounts receivable activities
- Assist with other billing responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- Medical Office/Medical Billing Experience
- Previous OB/Gyn Experience is Beneficial but Not Required
- Revenue Cycle Management Experience
- Knowledge of E-Clinical Works, Navicure, Waystar, Availity & Optum
- Medical Accounts Receivable Experience Preferred
- Strong Understanding of EOB & ERA
- Strong Communication Skills
*Pay rate negotiable based on experience*
