About Pauline Gandel Women’s Imaging Centre
The Pauline Gandel Women’s Imaging Centre provides a broad range of diagnostic services, operating Monday to Friday during business hours with an oncall for out of hours service for urgent emergency cases. The Radiology Service provides general adult, paediatric and neonatal radiology, a wide range of Fluoroscopic procedures, general and neonatal Ultrasounds, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Mammography, including diagnostic and interventional procedures. The Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound service provides tertiary level scanning, as well as ultrasound guided procedures such as Amniocentesis, Chorionic Villus Sampling and Intrauterine Transfusion. Gynaecological procedures include Cyst Aspiration and Saline Infusions.
About The Role
The Registered Nurse/Midwife is responsible for providing quality care to women and their families working collegially within the multidisciplinary team and other health professionals.
A Regular Day Will See You
- Setting up and assisting with procedures within the department.
- Providing care for women undergoing procedures and diagnostic imaging including post recovery.
- Managing stores and restocking areas.
About You
You will be someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong organisational capability. You’ll be committed to providing excellence in patient care and can work both independently and in a team with ease.
You’ll Bring With You
- Registered as a Division 1 Registered Nurse or Midwife with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Relevant clinical experience with commitment to evidence-base outcomes
- Ability to plan prioritise and time manage
- Utilises available resources effectively and efficiently for the delivery of evidenced based care
