You will be responsible for leading the codesign and implementation of networked service models in collaboration with Hospitals and Health Services and Divisions.
What you'll do
• Develop and maintain robust linkages with enablers such as workforce, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Healthcare Purchasing and System Performance, Clinical Networks, Healthcare Improvement Unit, and clinical leadership.
• Lead the development of health service planning capacity and capability across Queensland Health.
• Lead the analysis of clinical evidence and current and future health care needs to inform strategy and planning projects and deliver high quality work.
• Lead and manage the development and review of service planning frameworks, guides, systems, processes, and tools.
About you
The essential requirements for this role are:
• Experience in providing leadership and management of a multi-disciplinary team undertaking strategy development and/or health service planning in a large, complex, and decentralised service delivery organisation.
• Experience in health service planning including expertise in the development and use of planning frameworks and tools, and data collection and usage, combined with proven ability to lead innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Advanced interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills at a senior level and achievements in cultivating productive working relationships, partnerships, and teamwork in complex environments.
• Elevated level written analytical and communication skills, including ability to compile analytical reports, discussion papers and planning documents.
