About the role:
As a Financial Analyst, you will work closely with the Commercial Finance & Planning Manager to provide comprehensive commercial analytical support. You will collaborate with the broader Finance Team and key stakeholders to identify opportunities, as well as support the delivery of commercial outcomes for Monash IVF Group.
In the role, you will participate in commercial planning, risk assessment, financial modelling and analysis. Your key accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Instilling a business partnership model with stakeholders; to support with operational and strategic decisions, while driving continuous improvement within the business
- Preparing and presenting regular financial, commercial and operational reports
- Partnering with various departments to monitor and review performance comparisons such as budgets, forecasts, prior year, annual strategic plans and business cases with insightful commentary
- Assisting with financial accounting requirements, including the preparation and review of month-end financials, CAPEX, treasury and cash flow management
- Assisting in developing financial reporting frameworks, operational processes, financial dashboards using business intelligence systems and analytical tools
- Assist in predictive modelling to understand existing and emerging trends in domestic and international markets
Ideally you will bring to the role:
- 3+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
- Experience in data modelling and analysis techniques, as well as data visualisation
- The ability to build collaborative partnerships across all levels of the organisation
- Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail and a problem solving mindset
- Team player who is proactive, collaborative, adaptable and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to better outcomes
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Macro, Pivots, Power BI and other statistical packages or functionality.
