The Opportunity
As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the assigned portfolio, as well as seek new business opportunities, with the goal of increasing product sales in accordance with the policy set by general and/or commercial management and Astellas' compliance policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and manage relevant information on sales results for your current and potential markets, as well as customer segmentation within your geographic area of responsibility, to effectively define and manage your action plan.
- Plan and conduct promotional visits to clients in accordance with the company's ethical standards and in line with the market and sales strategy for its product line.
- Comply with company procedures for activities related to promotional materials or messages, expense reports, and maintaining and updating the medical records for your area.
- Analyze and monitor the cost-benefit ratio (ROI) according to the budget and customer segmentation assigned to your area of influence.
- Actively participate in projects that have a direct impact on the company's strategy, sharing information with colleagues from other departments and focusing plans on the company's established objectives.
Essential Knowledge & Experience
- Extensive experience as a Sales Representative or similar role.
- Strong communication and presentation capabilities.
Preferred Knowledge
- Masters in the Pharmaceutical Industry or postgraduate degree in Commercial Training, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- Solid knowledge of the urology or women’s health therapeutic areas and stakeholders in the region.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in health science or related fields, or equivalent.
Additional Information
- This is a permanent, full-time position.
- The position is based in Las Palmas (Gran Canaria), Canary Islands, Spain.
- This position is field based in the Province of Las Palmas, Canary Islands area and 80% travel is expected in line with your role.
