This is permanent, full-time work, 40 hours/week, with occasional evening hours for evening clinic open 1 day per week until 6:30 p.m. (as needed), providing clerical support for Women, infants, and Children (WIC) program. It will require some knowledge of maternal and child health and public health practices as well as community resources.

This position requires the ability to interact, communicate and work with a variety of individuals by telephone or in person (both internal and external customers) in an effective, positive manner. Must have strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Work includes data entry, word processing with a high level of accuracy, typing of various documents with potential for multi-tasking. Work will also require a high level of understanding related to program regulations and requires handling highly confidential information. Must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills.
Bilingual skills preferred, with an emphasis on Spanish, Arabic, Karen, or Pashto.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or equivalent and six months of experience in an office setting; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
