Seeking an experienced Lead Fertility Nurse to oversee nursing operations in Cascais, Portugal. This role involves ensuring top-quality patient care, coordinating treatment plans, and driving excellence in fertility care.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and guide the nursing team, fostering a high-performance environment. Provide training, manage schedules, and oversee onboarding programs.
- Ensure high-quality, evidence-based nursing care, conduct assessments, coordinate treatment plans, and address patient concerns.
- Maintain adherence to clinic policies and EU regulations, implement quality control measures, and prepare for audits.
- Work closely with medical and administrative teams, contribute to research, and integrate advancements in fertility treatments.
- Oversee inventory levels, ensure proper documentation of nursing procedures, and utilize electronic health records efficiently.
- Develop and implement nursing protocols to enhance patient care consistency and service quality.
- Act as a key liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (or an equivalent qualification).
- At least 5 years of nursing experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role (preferably within fertility care or women’s health).
- In-depth understanding of assisted reproductive technologies (ART) and fertility treatment protocols.
- Proven experience in team leadership, patient care coordination, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in digital healthcare platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Fluent in both English and Portuguese (mandatory).
- Registered with the Portuguese Nursing Council (Ordem dos Enfermeiros).
