Ferring+You
As our Customer Order Management Specialist you will ensure that all products required by our customers are available with the right level of inventory in order to achieve budget/business targets of marketing, sales, finance and operations. You will ensure good and smooth coordination between the department and all internal and external customers, collaborating with planning function, regulatory and markets.
We expect you to understand and keep track of replenishment/shipment to the markets/customers, focusing on Delivering on time and in full, Avoiding/Minimizing backorder, understanding the market’s specific requirement and the market’s dynamics. You will be the single point of contact for local markets for any orders and replenishment matters.
Your day at Ferring
- Control of local inventory level available for sale and ensure on time, in full replenishment when required, avoid/Minimize backorder and optimize transport cost and efficiency.
- Understand customer requirements and transform into fulfilment actions, manage and monitor day-to-day sales orders.
- Lead discussions with Global Supply Chain teams and local markets to ensure the availability of the product and ensure on time shipment.
- Manage order booking and follow up proactively to ensure no or low backorder and delays, Inform relevant stakeholders proactively on order status, especially for delays or critical out of stock.
- Update and ensure data integrity in reports & KPIs and perform spot analysis when required.
- Coordinate and support of actions in case of recall, quality investigation, traceability inquiry, repack, and other pharmaceutical operations. Monitoring of return of expired or damaged goods and coordinate the issuance of relevant document (e.g., credit notes).
- Coordination of clinical trial sourcing orders globally, and third party / M&S sample requests within the European cluster

- Experience with import / export / logistic & distribution aspects.
- Understanding of Trade & Compliance.
- Technical mastery in ORACLE/SAP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Power Bi and OneNote skills.
- The ability to respond appropriately under pressure.
- Sound judgment, analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
- A positive attitude, team-player and the ability to build relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
