Here at The Women's Health Center in Fountain Valley, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Midwife to join our healthcare team. We are looking for an experienced provider who would enjoy 3-4 days per week in the office and 10-12 deliveries per month. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period, as well as providing comprehensive women's care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of pregnant patients, including health histories and physical examinations.
- Monitor vital signs and fetal development throughout the pregnancy.
- Provide guidance on family planning, prenatal education, and pain management options.
- Assist in labor and delivery, employing various techniques to ensure a safe and positive birthing experience
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients
