About the role:
Our nursing team is critical to ensuring an exceptional experience for all our patients. The IVF Nurse Coordinator (RN) is a cornerstone of patient support, knowledge, and empowerment, providing compassionate, hands-on care throughout the treatment journey. Nurses in this role are dependable and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented professional dedicated to delivering exceptional fertility care and supporting patients on their family-building journey.
This is a part-time role, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish confidence, trust, and rapport with all patients while providing emotional and clinical support.
- Manage the clinic’s portfolio of patients, coordinating treatment plans for individuals undergoing procedures such as Egg Freezing, IUI, IVF, and Egg Donation.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, procedures, and post-treatment care.
- Facilitate the informed consent process and maintain thorough patient records.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and assist with procedures related to fertility treatments.
- Contact patients with test results, treatment updates, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, embryologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment, following clinic policies and healthcare regulations.
- Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated on advancements in fertility treatments and nursing practices.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse, with preference given to candidates with experience in fertility or reproductive health settings.
- Strong clinical skills, including venipuncture, IV administration, and patient assessment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy regulations, and infection control protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
- Ability to manage stress and multitask effectively in a high-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in fertility nursing or reproductive endocrinology.
- Previous experience working in an IVF or fertility clinic.
- Knowledge of assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures and protocols.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience in Fertility/IVF space is strongly preferred.
- Communicating with Chinese speaking patients may be required. Bilingual in Chinese and English is an added bonus.
Compensation:
- The hourly rate for this position ranges from $50 to $57 USD, depending on various factors such as relevant knowledge and skills, level of experience, certifications, and educational qualifications.
Pay: $50.00 - $57.00 per hour
