Our PRN Ultrasonographer will support the needs of our patients and facility by way of performing the necessary ultrasounds. We are hiring for a PRN position that will require working 2 shifts/week, falling between: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. in our Franklin, TN practice. This is a new position due to growth.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Obtain measurements and calculations of female anatomy while performing a detailed ultrasound examination.
- Utilize techniques that result in optimized images.
- Obtain appropriate images that clearly demonstrate ultrasound findings in accordance with specified protocols and accreditation standards.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding pertinent ultrasound findings in a concise, complete and accurate manner.
- Perform departmental tasks that are necessary to maintaining quality throughout all aspects of job duties performed.
- Document results utilizing our electronic medical records system.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited program resulting in the certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or DMS.
- OB-GYN experience is highly preferred.
