The Royal Women’s Hospital has proudly introduced the Public Fertility Services offering high-quality, safe and value-based care that is inclusive and culturally safe and improves access to fertility services for those who are currently underserviced by the private sector.
The Public Fertility Services offers a wide range of fertility treatments including but not limited to intrauterine insemination, IVF and intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection treatment cycles, Fertility preservation including ovarian and testicular tissue freezing, Preimplantation Genetic Testing, and a first publicly funded Donor Egg and Sperm Bank.
About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Embryologist to join our dynamic and solidary team.

As an Embryologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory procedures related to the collection, inspection, manipulation, processing of human oocytes, sperm and embryos and other related aspects of In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF).
A Regular Day Will See You
- Perform standard ART procedures and other treatments undertaken in the embryology laboratory
- Process human gametes, embryos or tissue for cryopreservation
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory procedures and results
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality control measures
- Assist with management of patients providing samples / general reception duties as required

You'll Bring With You
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent;
- Strong understanding of reproductive biology and assisted reproductive technologies
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
