These clinics provide the most comprehensive range of services including IVF, Male infertility, and genetics.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Biostatistician The successful candidate will be highly analytical and skilled in healthcare administration as well as business management. He should have ability to provide oversight of physician data management and analytics and understand the business needs of a medical practice and how to use data to achieve those needs. Responsible for extracting, compiling, organizing and managing large and varied sets of healthcare data, analysing data to assist in delivering optimal healthcare management and communicating their findings through use of data visualization and detailed reports.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain databases for clinical and research purposes, including data retrieval, cleaning, processing, transformation, and validation.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) by implementing data governance frameworks, reducing data entry errors, and optimizing data collection processes.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to convert raw data into standardized formats, ensuring efficient data processing and delivery.
• Validate data integrity, detect errors, and initiate corrective actions to enhance data reliability and accuracy.
• Optimize data processing workflows to enhance efficiency and usability for clinical and research applications.
• Support regulatory inspections and audits by maintaining compliance with clinical standards and developing data governance tools to streamline processes.
• Establish EMR system quality checkpoints for seamless data entry and automated clinical report generation, collaborating with the IT department.
• Conduct internal clinical audits, analyze data, and generate insightful reports to support clinical decision-making.
• Develop and update dashboards and data pipelines to accelerate data accessibility for clinical and research teams.
• Collaborate with the IT department to establish robust data architectures and management systems.
• Promote and coordinate Research & Development (R&D) big data projects to enhance innovation in clinical research.
• Perform statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in clinical and research data.
• Design and implement statistical methodologies for clinical studies, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and survival analysis.
• Develop predictive models for clinical outcomes and patient stratification using machine learning and statistical techniques.
• Interpret and communicate statistical findings to clinical and research teams, providing data-driven insights for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with biostatistical and regulatory guidelines in the analysis and reporting of clinical data.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Biostatistician, or in a related role.
• Strong ability to analyze existing tools and databases, providing software solution recommendations.
• High-level expertise in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
• Hands-on experience with data management & analytics software like SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Extensive experience in statistical analysis, with proficiency in R and Python.
• Familiarity with clinical trial design, epidemiological research, and statistical modeling techniques.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, research-oriented environment with multiple concurrent projects, including prototyping ideas from research papers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
