We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive release readiness and operational excellence with a focus on streamlining processes and enhancing product development workflows within our Product Operations & Program Management team. This role will be instrumental in supporting product managers, improving cross-functional collaboration with key functional leaders and business stakeholders across the organization.
As a Sr. Program Manager, you will leverage your expertise in program management, project execution, and process optimization to create scalable solutions that drive efficiency across teams.
You will be a strategic problem solver, a trusted advisor to product leaders, and a hands-on executor who ensures programs meet business objectives.
What You'll Do...
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and cross organizational department leaders to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans for large initiatives, managing risk, removing barriers and reporting to all level of leadership on progress towards goal.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving.
- Build strong relationships across teams, serving as a trusted resource for driving clarity in complex projects and programs.
- Act as a connector across departments, ensuring smooth execution of product initiatives.
- Facilitate effective communication between business, product, engineering, and leadership teams to maintain alignment.
- Experience in deployment and release readiness and management
- Support product development workflows to enhance collaboration between product managers, engineering, and design teams.
- Support and refine best practices for product planning, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
- Experienced in agile practices, & process maturity.
About You…
- 8+ years of program management and product operations experience, aligning resources at all levels towards successful launches
- Proven experience leading cross-functional programs with a focus on product development process optimization.
- Strong background in program project management methodologies, Agile processes (Scrum, Kanban).
- Exceptional ability to translate strategic objectives into tactical execution plans, identify and manage risk to achieving business objectives
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, Monday or similar project management software.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, relationship building, organization, and time-management skills
- Proven ability to adjust quickly and flexibly in a dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented, efficient, organized, resourceful, and highly productive while still seeing the bigger picture
- Proven ability to facilitate executive discussion and influence a recommended course of action
- Possess analytical problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and departments
- Working knowledge of technology products, typical integrations and experience in creating joint products with other healthcare vendors and services companies
- Strong healthcare acumen and knowledge of employer benefits landscape
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time and prioritize accordingly
- Demonstrated high skill levels of written and verbal excellence in business writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a minimal amount of supervision
- Ability to influence decision-makers, and proven negotiation skills

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is:
$125,000 - $135,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
