An exciting Permanent Full Time opportunity has become available within the District Education and Training Service Team located at Nepean Hospital. This role will be responsible for the development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of clinical midwifery education programs for staff of the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) and university graduate and undergraduate midwifery students.
The successful incumbent will ensure that educational and other strategies reflect current learning and clinical evidenced based best practice are aligned with agreed workforce developmental KPIs and measure organisational return on investment (ROI). This will be achieved by establishing robust educational partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders including clinicians, other education staff, universities, HETI, the CEC and relevant professional associations.

What You Will Bring To The Role
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Relevant post graduate qualifications
- Extensive post registration clinical midwifery experience
- Proven experience in the development, delivery and evaluation of clinical midwifery education programs within a large, diverse organisation
- Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to work in a consultative manner and to supervise other educators and trainers
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a team environment and manage projects in a timely manner
- Demonstrated computer literacy including use of MS office products or equivalent
- Current valid NSW Drivers licence.
