Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology are looking for several Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist to join their team. The purpose of this role is to deliver high-quality, evidence-based clinical management, treatment, and care to patients in need of Obstetrics and Gynaecology services at Logan Hospital. This care will be provided in accordance with the scope of practice approved by Metro South Hospital and Health Service (MSHHS).

Logan Hospital are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Staff Specialist to join their Obstetrics and Gynaecology team in a CSCF Level 5 unit delivering over 4000 babies/year. Logan Hospital provides complex obstetrics and gynaecological care to a broad catchment, supported by developing local Subspecialty units inclusive of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Neonatology and Obstetrics Medicine.

About The Role
- Participate at a strategic level supporting quality human resource management practices including Workplace Health and Safety, Employment Equity, Anti- discrimination and Ethical Behaviour.
- May be involved in a range of obstetrics and gynaecology services, including outreach (e.g. community clinics, Beaudesert Hospital) and termination of pregnancy.
- Lead and manage staff by fostering and committing to patient safety and quality in the delivery of health care by maintaining and evaluating safety and quality practices and initiatives.
- Demonstrates broad clinical and technical expertise, skills and knowledge in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the ability to provide expert clinical services to a specialty
