- If so, we have a unique opportunity for you! We're seeking an experienced Senior Investment Specialist to join our Distribution Investments team at Fidante and play a pivotal role in maximizing engagement with our clients, supporting business retention, and driving growth.
- We work flexibly from our Sydney CBD Office where you can expect to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
About the role:
The Distribution Investments team is responsible for raising capital across Fidante Partners’ investment affiliates and the management of client relationships across Wholesale, High Net Worth, and Listed Markets. This role will work closely with the individual Business Development Manager’s in providing specialist support to aid the team’s capital raising efforts with key clients across retail IFA’s, HNW advisors, and research consultants. This role will also engage closely with our Marketing Managers and the respective affiliate businesses to build and develop collateral and content for the respective affiliate partners.
Distribution builds relationships with financial intermediaries, in order to grow our funds under management of Fidante Partners suite of products. Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Commerce. Further study such as CFA would be viewed favourably.

As an Investment Specialist you will:
- Build relationships: Become a trusted business partner to portfolio managers and analysts with the ability to represent all aspects of their investment strategy and processes to key stakeholders (e.g. Fidante teams) and clients.
- Research and Analysis: Engage in investment research projects, producing written reports and whitepapers that contribute to client retention and growth.
- Developing and Coaching Others: Demonstrating ongoing commitment to foster the learning and development of others. Focusing on the development and coaching of individuals.
- Support Business Growth: Collaborate with Fidante's distribution, product, and marketing teams to leverage their capabilities, ensuring the success of our fund managers and positioning them competitively in the marketplace.
- Portfolio Analytics: Work closely with selected investment teams to develop client and consultant presentation materials, including attribution and portfolio characteristics as well as showcasing philosophy, process, and performance.
Role Requirements:
- Qualifications: Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Commerce. Further study such as CFA would be viewed favourably.
- Experience: The role requires well developed skills in written communication, portfolio analysis and a solid technical knowledge of investment markets. 7-10 yrs experience within related field.
- Effective Communication: Able to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups (including non-verbal communication and use of visual aids). Targeting presentations to the characteristics and needs of the audience.
- Developing and Coaching Others: Demonstrating ongoing commitment to foster the learning and development of others. Focusing on the development and coaching of individuals.
- Influencing: Using appropriate styles and methods to persuade, convince, influence, or impress others to gain support for or agreement to an idea or concept.
- Flexible Approach: Ability to structure work hours to meet team and stakeholder needs, ensuring we deliver the best results.
