The Opportunity
Join our dynamic Reproductive Genetics Group as a Project Assistant and play a key role in advancing the science of non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT). You will be part of an expert team dedicated to providing the highest quality prenatal screening, making a difference for families around the world.
As a Project Assistant, you will contribute valuable data for research and publication efforts by gathering and summarising pregnancy outcome data from individuals who have undergone NIPT. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge genomic technologies and support the delivery of life-changing medical services.
You Will
- Develop and maintain systematic data collection processes.
- Regularly liaise with medical practitioners, patients, and other stakeholders to request and confirm outcome data
- Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and accuracy of all data entered into clinical and laboratory databases.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports, publications, and presentations, while supporting ethics applications to uphold regulatory and ethical standards.
Your Responsibilities Include
- Gather, summarise, and enter outcome data from NIPT screening to support innovative research.
- Work independently, while collaborating closely with your team and external stakeholders.
- Uphold patient privacy and adhere to stringent confidentiality policies.
- Provide essential support to genetic counsellors, researchers, and medical professionals.
- Contribute to the evolution of prenatal screening through high-quality, reliable data.
What We Need From You
- A degree in Science or a related discipline, or relevant experience in a similar field such as medical research or administration.
- Experience with data collection, project coordination, and research processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Medical laboratory or research experience is a plus.
- A commitment to high standards of professionalism and a strong work ethic.
