The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) is the leading standards body responsible for the training and education of specialists and GP obstetricians in obstetrics and gynaecology in Australia and New Zealand.

Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Advocacy & Communications, the role is responsible for the coordination of multiple State and Territory Committees assigned to effectively address critical engagement, advocacy, workshop, and networking needs for our College members at the local level.
The States & Territories Support Coordinator works closely with the Advocacy, Communications, and Events teams, serving as a conduit for communicating and progressing Committee initiatives. The role will also provide administrative support for Advocacy and Communications processes and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Committee Coordination for State Committees, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, reporting to the Board and Council, and progressing action items and initiatives.
- Project support for State & Territory Committee projects/initiatives in conjunction with the Events, Advocacy, and Communications teams, including assisting with general enquiries and administrative support in peak times.
- Supporting the delivery of local and or networking events.
- Collaborate with different business units within the College on projects when required.
- Support with day-to-day administration and functions.
This position is based at our HQ in Melbourne (Djeembana). We offer our team a hybrid working option with 3 days in office and 2 days WFH. Due to the nature of the role, flexibility may be required to attend onsite more often, especially during periods of on and off-site events.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent administrative and written communication skills with the ability to prepare communications appropriate for executive and board levels.
- Experience in agenda preparation and minute-taking.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service focus
- Excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new systems and programs quickly.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team and effectively prioritise work in an environment with competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated flexibility, initiative and organisational skills.
