About Finance
The Finance department brings a commercial perspective to business decision making and supports the Women's business performance by providing the appropriate financial and business information and advice, as well as driving the organisation's business risk management program.
About The Role
As a Finance Business Partner within the Finance team you will work collaboratively with directors and managers throughout the organisation to provide financial and business advice that is consistent with sound accounting, business practice and the strategic direction of the organisation.
A Regular Day May See You
- Working collaboratively with directors and managers of business units to provide financial analysis, planning and reporting.
- Preparing timely and accurate financial reporting, including concise commentary explaining key movements and trends against budget each month and linking financial results to activity.
- Providing financial advice in the development of business case proposals.
- Presenting financial results to senior leaders
- Working across the organisation to identify revenue optimisation opportunities and cost saving initiatives, while assisting in the implementation and monitoring of new initiatives
- Preparing annual budgets and/or ensuring the effective facilitation of the organisation’s annual budget.

About You
You will be someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. You’ll have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capability, and demonstrate financial acumen.
You’ll Bring With You
- ACA or CPA (or equivalent) qualifications
- Minimum three year’s experience in a finance business partner role or similar in a medium to large organisation
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) or equivalent software package
- Experience with Magiq Powerbudget or equivalent financial reporting / budgeting software package, desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated experience with the preparation of board reports (including financial statements and analysis), general purpose financial reports, acquittals and end of month reconciliations, and business cases.
