The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Operations & Planning Manager to join our growing team. This part-time role is perfect for someone who thrives on problem-solving, streamlining processes, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. With the potential to grow into a full-time position, this role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in our success during a period of rapid growth.
In this role, you will oversee key operational activities, including forecasting, purchasing, logistics, and process optimisation. You will ensure that our operations align with business goals, industry standards, and customer expectations.
What You’ll Do
- Forecast demand and plan inventory to meet business and customer needs.
- Analyse operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage purchasing and supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Coordinate logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring efficient delivery and fulfilment processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise processes and reduce inefficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Support planning and execution of key projects, events, and initiatives.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership on operational performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in operations, planning, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
- Experience with forecasting, purchasing, and logistics coordination.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards is a plus.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and team members.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or a similar industry is highly desirable.
