We are hiring a part-time, temporary Pharmacist to join our Edmonton clinic for an 18-month term, with the possibility of an extension.
"This position will be scheduled for day shifts on weekdays and rotating weekends."
The Pharmacist uses professional knowledge, interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills, technical skills, and clinical judgment to provide quality pharmaceutical care to patients.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients.
- Educate patients regarding complex medication regimens and methods of medication administration.
- Provide pharmaceutical advice and guidance to patients, other clinic divisions and outside pharmacies.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized University.
- Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in a clinical setting
- Current Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP) registration.
- Injection certification.
- Advanced prescribing license an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and reprioritize.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Professionalism and understanding in patient interactions.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other divisions within the organization.
