Pacific Centre for Reproductive Medicine (PCRM) is seeking a dedicated and professional Patient Concierge to join our Edmonton team. This is a full-time position with a schedule that includes both weekdays and weekends. We'd love to hear from you if you have a passion for patient care and exceptional customer service skills!
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, between 6 AM to 4:30 PM, weekends on rotation.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Patient Concierge, you will be our patients' first point of contact, ensuring a welcoming, calm, and organized clinical environment. This role involves administrative tasks and direct patient interaction in person and via phone/electronic communication. You will enhance the patient experience by providing exceptional service and supporting clinic operations.
Reporting to the Reception Supervisor/Operations Assistant, you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure smooth clinic operations and efficient patient care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Patient Support & Front Desk Management:

- Greet and assist patients upon arrival.
- Ensure accurate entry of patient information into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Maintain clinic databases and patient records.
- Communication & Coordination:
- Answer and triage incoming calls and online messages.
- Direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Schedule, modify, and cancel patient appointments as needed.
- Administrative Duties:
- Process payments and manage daily financial reconciliations.
- Collect, sort, and distribute mail.
- Maintain clinic security on Sundays and holidays.
- Act as Fire Marshall and attend fire safety meetings.
- Assist with the daily operations of a busy clinic environment.
- Other Duties:
- Organize deliveries and scheduled pickups (e.g., specimens, pharmacy sheets, payroll).
- Notify patients of weekend appointment times.
- Perform general office tasks (filing, faxing, mail handling, etc.).
- Support the team with additional duties as needed.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Education & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience (preferably in a healthcare setting).
- Medical Office Assistant Certification is an asset.
- Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to handle complex patient inquiries with professionalism.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and office software.
- High level of attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently while contributing to a team.
