Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate OB/GYN Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of women's health, including prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients during various stages of their reproductive health journey. The OB/GYN Nurse will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of care and patient safety.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.
Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
Monitor patients' conditions and provide urgent care as needed.
Participate in discharge planning, ensuring patients understand follow-up care.
Provide education to patients regarding their health, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in critical care transport situations.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.
Stay informed about advancements in obstetric and gynecological nursing practices.

Experience

Previous experience in an OB/GYN or women's health setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical-surgical nursing practices is beneficial.
Knowledge of physiology related to pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery is essential.
Experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings is a plus.
Ability to provide toddler care when necessary for family-centered approaches.
