Overview
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Gap Year Students to join our team in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role is designed for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the healthcare field while contributing to patient care and support. As a Gap Year Student, you will have the opportunity to explore various medical specialties, develop essential skills, and make a positive impact on the lives of patients.

Duties

Assist healthcare professionals in an OBGYN office setting and procedure room.
Support daily operations by preparing examination rooms and ensuring all necessary medical supplies are available, assisting healthcare professionals,
Perform vitals, intakes, venipuncture, etc
Perform front desk duties such as check-ins, check-outs, scheduling appointments
Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Document patient interactions accurately and maintain confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Experience

Ideal candidates must be a post graduate student
Experience or coursework in Medical-surgical, women's health , primary care, any specialty, etc
Basic life support certification is preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
A passion for learning and a commitment to providing compassionate care will enhance your experience in this role.

Must be willing to commute to our Spring Valley, NY practice also.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
