Annual Salary: $130k-$150k (Varies depending on years of experience)
We have an exciting opportunity to join our client’s team as a Certified Nurse Midwife. Our client is a well-established non-profit organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines.
- Effectively identifies, evaluates, and addresses disease prevention and health promotion issues to provide comprehensive women's health care throughout the lifespan, with an emphasis on reproductive, gynecologic, and family-centered health education while administering quality patient care.
- Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of common gynecologic acute and chronic healthcare issues.
- Educates patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues, and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
- Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
- Participate in outpatient and hospital call.
Requirements:
- New York Certified Nurse Midwife license required
- 1 year relevant clinical experience and dedication to providing quality healthcare services
- Previous CNM experience required
- Previous experience preferred
