Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse/Midwife – Tumby Bay Casual Pool
Join our dedicated healthcare team in Tumby Bay and make a meaningful difference to the local community by delivering high-quality, patient-centred nursing and midwifery care. This casual role offers flexibility while allowing you to consolidate and expand your clinical skills in a supportive regional environment.
As a Registered Nurse/Midwife in the casual pool, you will provide safe, effective, and evidence-based care across a variety of health service settings in Tumby Bay. You will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team, including Enrolled Nurses, Allied Health staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. You will also maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in supporting less experienced staff and students where required.
The role requires accountability for your own standards of care and for activities delegated to you, ensuring compliance with professional, regulatory, and statutory requirements. Continuous professional development and reflective practice are encouraged to support your growth from novice to proficient practitioner.
What We're Looking For:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
- Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel.
