Quality Staffing Specialist are currently searching for Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technologist to work in a Clinic setting.
Responsible for independent operation of diagnostic medical equipment to expose complex diagnostic conditions, & for performing & communicating results of diagnostic examinations for a variety of OB/GYN scanning procedures (fetal echo, fetal anomalies).
Required Skills/Experience:
- Must have 2 years of recent Sonographer/Maternal Fetal experience
- EPIC experience preferred
- Work Setting: High Risk OB & Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Patient Diagnoses: Basic/Complex Pregnancy, Fetal Antenatal Testing/Dopplers, Invasive Procedures (Fetal), and Gynecologic Ultrasound.
- Special Procedures: Amniocentesis, CVS and Fetal Echocardiography.
- Fetal Skills Preferred: Abdomen, Abdominal Circumference, Bone Lengths, Cerebellum, ventricles, Diaphragm, Duodenal Atresia/Intussusception, Finger/Toes, Gender, Head and Heart.
- OB/GYN Skill Preferred: 1st/2nd/3rd Trimester, Amniotic fluid index, Fetal Anatomical Survey, Fetal Echo, Inter/Intra-Orbital Measurements, Multiple Pregnancy, Nuchal Translucency Screen, Placenta Previa and Umbilical Cord Doppler.
- Procedures: Amniocentesis and Ultrasound Guided Biopsy/Fine Needle Aspiration.
- Equipment Used: GE Voluson E10 and GE Viewpoint
Location: Cary, NC
Rate: $2,560 - $2,680/weekly
Shifts Available: Days: 8:00am-4:30pm (Monday-Friday), 5x8 hour shifts
Scheduling Requirements:
- Length of contract: 8 weeks
- Hours per week: 40
- No On Call
- No Weekends
Credential Requirements:
- Resume reflecting all experience & explanation of gaps in employment more than 30 days
- 12-month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography/General Ultrasound
- RDMS (OB/GYN) by ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) *required
- RDMS (FE) by ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) *preferred, not required
- BLS/Healthcare Provider (AHA)
