Dallas IVF, a state-of-the-art clinic offering a wide variety of treatments ranging from basic care to the most advanced fertility technologies, is looking for an IVF Coordinator-RN to join our team! This position is full time, in person, at our Dallas location from 7:30am-4:30pm, with rotating weekends coverage at our Frisco location.
The IVF Coordinator-RN will work as part of a multidisciplinary team within a fully functional fertility clinic, providing high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the assisted conception pathway. The role involves supporting individuals and couples undergoing fertility investigations and treatments, including ovulation induction, donor insemination, intra-uterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), and gamete/embryo donation programs.
The IVF Coordinator-RN will deliver safe and evidence-based clinical care, patient education, emotional support, treatment coordination, and ongoing monitoring, always ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinic protocols.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Duties
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients undergoing fertility assessment and treatment.
- Support and prepare patients for procedures such as follicle tracking scans, transvaginal oocyte retrievals, embryo transfers, IUI, and semen preparation.
- Administer medications including stimulation injections, trigger injections, luteal support, and other prescribed treatments.
- Perform venipuncture and relevant clinical observations.
- Assist clinicians during procedures and maintain sterile technique as required.
- Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure, recognizing and responding to complications such as OHSS (Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome).
- Maintain accurate documentation and electronic patient records in line with clinic and legal standards.
2. Treatment Coordination & Patient Support
- Act as a key point of contact for patients throughout their treatment cycle.
- Provide clear, sensitive, and timely information on treatment processes, medication schedules, consent requirements, and follow-up steps.
- Deliver nurse-led consultations, including treatment planning, consent appointments, and medication teaching.
- Offer emotional support and appropriate referral for counselling or additional services when needed.
- Ensure continuity of care and effective communication between the medical, laboratory, administrative, and counselling teams.
3. Compliance & Regulatory Responsibilities
- Adhere to local and national guidelines, including HFEA (or relevant regulatory body) standards, clinic SOPs, and safeguarding procedures.
- Support completion and verification of treatment consents, legal parenthood documentation, and donor-related regulatory requirements.
- Participate in internal audits, incident reporting, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Always maintain confidentiality and data-protection compliance.
4. Professional Development
- Engage in ongoing clinical training, fertility-specific education, and competency assessments.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and multidisciplinary discussions.
- Maintain professional registration and keep up to date with advancements in fertility treatment, nursing practice, and relevant legislation.
5. Administrative & Operational Tasks
- Coordinate patient appointments, treatment cycles, and communication pathways.
- Ensure availability and safe storage of clinic medications and consumables.
- Contribute to efficient clinic flow and support the operational needs of the unit.
- Assist with patient information development, service improvements, and patient experience initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- BSN Registered Nurse (RN) with current professional registration.
- Previous experience in acute care, women’s health, gynecology, or related specialty.
- Competency in venipuncture and administration of medications.
- Basic Life Support
Desirable:
- Experience in fertility or reproductive medicine.
Working Conditions:
- May occasionally be asked to work in other Dallas IVF locations to cover clinic needs
- Weekend rotations will be in Frisco
- Exposure to emotionally sensitive conversations and situations.
- Requirement to provide safe care within a busy, time-sensitive clinical environment.
