Ward 6 is busy 30 bedded Acute Medical Ward comprising of 6 side rooms and six four-bedded bays.
We are seeing enthusiastic Band 5 Nurses who have a passion for Medicine. You will work closely with HCSWs, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, medics and other Allied Health Professionals to deliver improved collaborative and multi-disciplinary working.
You must have excellent verbal and written communication sills with the ability to plan, assess and implement care for acute medical patients and patients who may require additional hospital care before discharged. You must be able to plan and prioritise your workload well in this busy and demanding ward.
You must be able to work flexibly and work a series of long days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
