Job Summary
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Practice Nurse to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will provide a wide range of nursing services and contribute to the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing general treatment room duties and nursing care
- Delivering immunisations and vaccinations (childhood, travel, flu, etc.)
- Conducting cervical cytology screening
- Supporting chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension)
- Performing wound care, and health checks
- Promoting health education and lifestyle advice
- Supporting infection prevention and control
- Contributing to QOF targets, audits, and enhanced services
