Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic healthcare team, traveling between our Raleigh and Cary locations as needed. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

Key Responsibilities:

Warmly greet and check in patients, ensuring a smooth transition into the practice.
Manage check-out procedures, including collecting co-pays and scheduling follow-up appointments.
Efficiently coordinate appointment scheduling, confirming patients' availability and optimizing the schedule.
Utilize Athena software and possess OBGYN experience to accurately process patient information and manage healthcare records.
Verify insurance coverage and eligibility to facilitate billing and long-term patient relationships.
Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, particularly in a healthcare setting, is required.
Proficiency in Athena or similar practice management software is mandatory.
Strong understanding of OBGYN practices and patient management systems.
Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on patient care and satisfaction.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Will have to work in the Raleigh and Cary offices, will be scheduled ahead of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
