Role Description
This is a full-time position for a Nurse Midwife. The Nurse Midwife will provide compassionate care to patients with a focus on maternity, family planning, and general healthcare. Responsibilities include managing prenatal, childbirth, and postnatal care, offering family planning guidance, and delivering patient education. Additionally, the Nurse Midwife will collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes for patients, including addressing broader aspects of health and wellness.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Midwifery and Maternity care, including prenatal, labor, and postnatal support
- Knowledge of Family Planning and ability to provide patient-centered reproductive health guidance
- Expertise in Nursing and general Medicine to support comprehensive healthcare needs
- Ability to foster patient trust and maintain clear and empathetic communication
- Active certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and current RN licensure
- Experience in rural or community health settings is preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to serving underserved populations and advancing health equity
