Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Midwife to provide comprehensive prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care to an expectant mother. Duties
- Monitor and assess the health status throughout prenatal visits
- Assist during labor and delivery, providing support to mothers and coordinating with medical teams as needed
- Conduct postpartum assessments to ensure recovery and address any complications
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient histories, treatments, and progress in medical records
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families during pregnancy and after birth
Skills
- Proven experience in patient care within obstetrics or nursing roles
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to maternal health and childbirth
- Ability to administer medications safely and effectively in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication skills for educating patients and working within multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
- Knowledge of current best practices in midwifery, prenatal education, and postpartum support
