Overview
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing, diagnosing, treating and monitoring diseases and issues related to women's health, and providing medical counsel and support to women during pregnancy and childbirth.
OB/GYN Physician Responsibilities:
- Performing a wide range of tests, including pap smears, pelvic, and breast exams.
- Provide outpatient care including routine gynecological exams, prenatal care, and family planning services.
- Monitoring and treating expectant mothers during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
- Manage labor and delivery processes, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and child.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound imaging and diagnostic radiology as needed.
- Educating patients about disease prevention and detection, and reproductive health.
- Recording medical history.
- Collaborating with other medical and non-medical personnel.
- Stay updated on current and advancements in obstetrics and gynecology practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

What You Bring to Carestier Healthcare:
- Medical Degree from an Accredited Institution with a specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Active unrestricted NYS Medical License or the ability to attain one in the state you will practice in
- Active NY DEA registration
- Board certification
- Eligible to Work in the US
- BLS certified
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and support.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care with empathy and professionalism.
