Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fetal Medicine Specialist located in Dubai. The Fetal Medicine Specialist will be responsible for diagnosing and managing fetal conditions, performing ultrasounds and other diagnostic tests, and providing counseling to expectant parents. Day-to-day tasks include working closely with obstetricians, gynecologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive fetal care, managing high-risk pregnancies, and participating in multidisciplinary teams to support patient care. The role also involves staying updated with the latest advancements in fetal medicine and applying evidence-based practices.
Qualifications
MBBS and MS / DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology from a recognized medical institution.
Specialization or Fellowship in Fetal Medicine from a recognized medical institution and valid for DHA.
Valid DHA / Eligibility Letter as Fetal Medicine Specialist.
Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with proven expertise in fetal and maternal care.
Minimum 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in fetal medicine or high-risk obstetrics within a reputed hospital or medical center.
Hands-on experience in performing advanced fetal scans, prenatal diagnostics, and invasive procedures (e.g., amniocentesis, CVS).
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and counseling skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and high-risk pregnancy cases.
Multilingual proficiency to serve diverse patient community.
Willingness to work in an outpatient setup with hospital attachment for deliveries and procedures.
Strong commitment to team collaboration, ethical practice, and patient-centered care.
