Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care
- Review patient charts and appropriately prepare for the patients arrival
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Order laboratory tests, such as urine analysis and blood glucose monitoring, and cultures
- Assist with in office minor surgical procedures
- Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records
- Provide patient education on various health topics
- Phlobotomy
- Answer patients messages as well as explain medical procedure
- Work as a team player
- Have experience as a medical assistant as well as with scheduling appointments
- Have at lease 5 years working in a Doctor's office
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
- Knowledge of medical procedures and equipment
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 36 per week
