Embryology Laboratory Supervisor – Tampa, Florida
The Reproductive Medicine Group (RMG), a proud member of The Prelude Network, is seeking a qualified Embryology Laboratory Supervisor to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced embryologist who is passionate about women’s health and reproductive medicine. Key Responsibilities
- Perform all core IVF laboratory procedures, including media and dish preparation, oocyte retrieval, sperm preparation, fertilization assessment, embryo grading, cryopreservation and thawing, embryo transfer, ICSI, and assisted hatching
- Conduct a full range of andrology services, including semen preparation for intrauterine insemination (IUI) and IVF, sperm cryopreservation, and comprehensive semen analysis according to World Health Organization (WHO) standards
- Maintain laboratory compliance by performing routine quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), and participating in quality improvement (QI) programs
- Ensure accurate documentation, data collection, and adherence to company protocols, policies, and regulatory standards
- Actively support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing both patient outcomes and organizational performance
- Perform additional duties as assigned in alignment with RMG’s commitment to excellence in patient care and laboratory operations
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline is required; a Master’s degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Medical Technology is preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a human IVF laboratory is required
- Certification as a Technical Supervisor (TS) is required
- Documented experience performing at least 60 ART procedures under supervision.
- Proficiency in trophectoderm biopsy is required.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including weekend shifts, as needed.
