Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking messages as needed.
- Perform data entry tasks, maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
- Handle calendar management, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
- Provide administrative support to staff, including clerical duties such typing, scanning, and managing records.
- Maintain office organization by ensuring supplies are stocked and the front desk area is tidy.
- Assist with customer support inquiries, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools for document creation and communication.
- Uphold phone etiquette standards while interacting with patients over the phone.
Skills
- Experience working at a front desk or in a receptionist role is essential.
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls efficiently.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications.
- Previous office experience or clerical experience is highly valued.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to handle administrative responsibilities with attention to detail in data entry and filing processes.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience as a dental receptionist or medical receptionist is advantageous but not mandatory.
