About the role
As a Clinical Midwifery Specialist you will provide clinical leadership, advice and recommendations on all aspects of your specialist field of midwifery, clinical supervision to nursing & midwifery staff and be a role model for the team, providing nursing care on a regular basis.
Working within the Midwifery Group Practice program (MGPP), you will be supporting the team who provide continuity of care to women throughout their pregnancy, birth and postnatal period. This program focusses on the woman's individual needs, expectations and aspirations, you'll work at an advanced nursing level to achieve quality care outcomes for patients and will support your team in a collaborative work environment. You will work with close support from the Clinical Midwife Educator and Nursing Unit Manager.
