We are pleased to offer two fixed-term part-time Medical Receptionist / Ultrasound Assistant positions at our practice in Mt. Lawley. The initial contract is for 1 year, which includes a 6-month probation period. Subject to performance and operational requirements, the contract may be extendable to 2 years.
The successful candidates will be expected to commence as soon as possible.

Overview:
The experience gained in this role would help to develop knowledge in detailed high-end ultrasound imaging of Obstetrics & Gynaecology patients, high-quality patient care, and organisational skills.
Interviews will start taking place from the _____ October 2025, with an immediate start date for successful candidates. You would be required to commit to a minimum of 2-3 days a week. The clinic is open from Monday to Friday only.

Essential Minimum Requirements:
Demonstrated previous experience in the role of receptionist and/or ultrasound assistant at a medical clinic
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Understanding of medical terminology, specifically regarding Radiology, Obstetrics, and Gynaecology
Knowledge of medical billing system
Enthusiasm to grow and develop with the practice
General Purpose of Ultrasound Assistant Role:
Meet and greet the patients as per appointments and give instructions prior to and following scans
Keep the ultrasound room well-organised and tidy
Prepare the room and scan machines for appointments to help run the list as scheduled
Help to write reports as dictated by the sonographer/ sonologist
General Purpose of Receptionist Role:
To provide high quality reception services to patients and doctorsin a caring and supportive manner
Efficiently managing patient appointments and giving instructions upon arrival
Typing ultrasound reports
Liaise with medical and non- medical staff, other consultants and GPs in relation to bookings and reports
